Israeli Singer Tal Sondak to Perform at St. Louis Jewish Community Center for Yom Ha'atzmaut
St. Louis, MO (PRWEB) March 21, 2010 -- Israeli singer Tal Sondak is traveling all the way to St. Louis for the Jewish Community Center’s (http://www.jccstl.com/) Yom Ha’atzmaut celebration to laude Israel’s 62 years of independence. The celebration is scheduled for April 19, 2010.
Sondak, age 33, began his musical career in a boy’s choir at age 10. In 2001 he attracted international attention when he represented Israel at the Eurovision Song Contest with his performance of “En Davar.”
The evening will begin at 6:00 p.m. with a ceremony recognizing Yom Hazikaron, Israeli Fallen Soldiers and Victims of Terrorism Remembrance Day, with reverence and to signify the transition to the grand celebration of Yom Ha’atzmaut.
The event will conclude with a professional fireworks display at 8:45 p.m. on the Baer Ball Fields at the Staenberg Family Complex at 2 Millstone Campus Dr. The Jewish community family event will also offer authentic Israeli fare and handcrafted goods for sale. This event is free of charge and the entire community is encouraged to attend.
